This workforce reduction, primarily affecting operational and administrative roles, occurred roughly a year after the Boston-based company achieved unicorn status with a $1.3 billion valuation. Merely a month following these layoffs, co-founder and CEO Kuldeep Singh Rajput abruptly resigned. The company has since established an interim "Office of the CEO" overseen by new board member Ben Wanamaker while it searches for a permanent chief executive.
