This reduction occurred just eight months after the company raised a $400 million Series D round, bringing its total funding to $600 million and achieving unicorn status. The layoffs were attributed to a strategic shift to focus on developing low-rise housing units, leading to cuts in the team working on high-rise solutions. Prior to the layoffs, Veev employed around 350 people globally, including 100 in Israel.
